About Us
Haven Montessori is a private, non-sectarian Montessori school in Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City, recognized by DepEd and serving children from pre-school through junior high school.
Our mission
Haven Montessori is a non-sectarian school devoted to developing our students' social consciousness, self-awareness, and motivation — helping each child set and reach both short- and long-term goals.
We pursue this mission by providing an environment that is safe, stimulating, and conducive to learning, where conscientious, knowledgeable, and supportive teachers present a relevant, challenging, and evolving curriculum that meets the future needs of our students as members of a productive society.
Our vision
Haven Montessori envisions students who become excellent in all aspects of life — ready to face the future with determination and responsibility, formed in a caring environment and a unique curriculum.
Joyful Learning
Joyful Learning comes to life at Haven Montessori through individual instruction, a carefully prepared environment, and unique classroom activities that motivate students to engage with their lessons — whether at home or at school.
Our objectives
- Provide each child with a systematic learning program aimed at developing their natural capabilities and talents.
- Equip each student with the essential tools of learning to guide them in the search for knowledge and truth throughout life.
- Foster the constant collaboration of parents and teachers in the education of children.
- Help each child express and interpret their feelings and emotions.
- Provide suitable opportunities for each child to reason, solve problems, make decisions, express opinions, and form conclusions.
- Develop in each child a deep and lasting respect for other people.
- Provide learning experiences that foster creative self-expression, self-control, independence, and the ability to make decisions.
- Provide a prepared environment that is more than tables and chairs — one that holds the materials for the exercises of practical life, the sensorial materials, and the materials for the acquisition of culture, history, geography, the arts, and many others.
